We can help — more than you think!
by David Hachmeister, Owner, Care & Comfort at Home for Seniors and Veterans
We know it might seem trite, but we at Care and Comfort at Home for Seniors and Veterans really do care about your family and how best to serve them. (To learn about all of our services for seniors and veterans, click HERE.) As such, we are always searching for ways for our potential clients to stay potential clients and, better yet, become new clients. We are looking for intermediate steps. If we do this well, it will make the transition to receiving in-home care less awkward for our clients.
Although it might seem counterintuitive from a business point of view, we are planning to make sure that our clients need our caregiver services later, rather than sooner.
Exciting, new technologies for senior care at home
To do just that, we have several technological innovations that we will be introducing shortly. These will mean you or your family member will be able to stay at home longer, even if one of our caregivers is not there. By extending the time seniors and veterans can remain in their homes, in as normal an environment as possible, we fulfill our mission.
Here are some of the things that we will be able to do, by using these new technologies:
- Monitor heart and respiratory rates.
- Track movements, including falls and even simple everyday activities like drinking and eating.
- Provide face-to-face contact with the client or family for medication and meal reminders.
- Monitor entry and exits from the home.
Save time and money now, for when you’ll need it most
Thanks to these innovations, we will be able to provide such monitoring at a small fraction of the cost of having an in-home care provider. We view these advances as enhancements to our regular in-home care services. They will free up time and money now, so that when the time is right, you’ll have the resources for the necessary and desired physical and social activities that we can help provide in the future.
Yes, we can help — soon, even more so than before!
