Care & Comfort at Home and American Veterans Care Connection join forces to help vets receive benefits and quality at-home care
Care & Comfort at Home is now working together with American Veteran Care Connection (AVCC) to help inform and assist those who have served our country and might be eligible for financial benefits for at-home care from the Veterans Administration.
AVCC uniquely serves both veterans and their surviving spouses by educating them on how to obtain the benefits available to them under the Veterans Administration Aid and Attendance Pension.
AVCC’s co-founder Jeanne Asher, a registered nurse working in home care, experienced first hand the challenging process of obtaining veteran benefits and finding qualified caregivers while helping her own father. As a solution, she and her husband, co-founder Chip Asher (himself a veteran of the U.S. Air Force) created AVCC — a network of non-medical at-home care companies who are dedicated to assisting veterans and their surviving spouses in getting the benefits and quality care for which they are eligible.
AVCC charges no fees to veterans or surviving spouses for these services.
