It’s Complicated

I remember the process of going to bed in my 20s. Not real difficult: Brush my teeth, put on my pj’s, and slip into bed for immediate sleep. As an older adult, I now have to: 1) be sure I don't eat too much too late, 2) try not to fall asleep too early, 3) turn down the thermostat, 4) take my melatonin, 5) floss and brush my teeth, 6) use my Flonase, 7) put on my pj’s, and finally 8) put in my night guard.
