Things You Tell a Stranger

“Mom was never easy to get along with.”

In the rush of emotions surrounding major life changes — like bringing someone new into your family’s home — surprising confessions, laments, and truths come out.

Rest assured that your expressed thoughts will be held in confidence by our personnel in our office. It’s important that you can speak freely to us, so that we have as much understanding about your senior loved one’s situation as we can as early as possible. Great care requires a willingness on the part of our clients to let us know the whole story. We can adjust — that is what we do, and have done, for almost a decade now.

You might surprise yourself with some of the things you say and reveal to us. No need to be upset. Some things just need to be said and come out.

Every relationship is different and typically complicated. No one sentence or conversation can come close to revealing all there is to know. Every conversation is like a single frame in the movie of life. As our relationship with a client grows, we learn more and can fill in the other parts of the profile.
